Gluten free/Dairy free/Keto/Paleo…sign me up!
***this is my basic gravy mix adapted from ruled.me.com. I make it with any meat—especially good over chicken!***
1/4 lb sausage (here’s my go to seasoning-it’s spicy! But I blend it in a lb of ground meat & use a 1/4 of that sausage for this gravy)
1 tbsp ghee
1/2 c water
1/2 c full fat coconut milk
1/2 tsp guar gum
2 tbsp butter
Salt & pepper to taste
Brown the sausage in the pan over medium heat. While the pan is still hot & the sausage is cooked all the way, pour in the liquid & scrape the bottom of the pan to get the tasty little bits up.
Mix in the guar gum & mix WELL. Then stir in the butter & taste test it!
Serve over these almond meal biscuits or some gluten free bread!
